Thanksgiving and no leftovers!
11/28/06 Permalink
Normally my husband and I host Thanksgiving dinner,
it's usually my family that comes and we spend
Christmas with his family. This year my sisters and I
all swapped and went to our in-laws instead. I had a
great time with the family but was quite disappointed
there were no leftovers! Hubby was quite disappointed
too. Our Thanksgiving usually has about 7 adults and
4 kids, we have a large variety of side dishes, we
make our own and my sisters and mother each bring a
dish. Our Turkey will normally weigh between 25-28
lbs. We do this so that everyone can bring home
turkey.
This year the Turkey was 19 lbs and there were 10 adults! 4 side dishes, which 3 of them were mashed potato type dishes. Needless to say we will continue with our previous tradition and hold Thanksgiving next year

Bratz Dolls a BIG no no
11/08/06 Permalink
Not sure who is and who isn't familiar with the bratz
dolls, but I have a real bone to pick. These dolls,
well at least some of them, wear thongs!! In my
opinion not even a teenager should be wearing thongs,
let alone a young child playing with a doll who has
one on! What kind of morals are we teaching our kids
if we are creating toys to look like tramps!
